Naver Search Advisor is effectively mandatory if you target the Korean market. A large share of Korean search traffic still flows through Naver, so registering only with Google Search Console leaves a major channel unmonitored.
The setup is straightforward: register the site, submit sitemap.xml and RSS, check robots.txt, and review the content guideline diagnosis inside the webmaster tools section.
The bigger difference from Google is structural. Naver gives heavy real estate to its own surfaces — View, Influencer, Place, Shopping — so generic web-document SEO only goes so far. Look at the actual SERP and decide which surface to target on a query-by-query basis.
